FAQS

1.Can I add GO-AIO batteries to an existing battery bank of non-GO-AIO battery?

No. Mixing GO-AIO batteries with other battery chemistries or types in a single system is not recommended and will void the warranty.

 

2.If I have a PV system already installed, can I add GO-AIO batteries afterward?

Yes, If you already have a PV array, you can create an AC-coupled system to add energy storage.

 

3.What can I do with energy storage?

There are many different applications and use cases for energy storage. Batteries have traditionally been used in off-grid scenarios to store and provide power from solar, wind or diesel generators in remote locations 24/7 long after the sun goes down or the wind stops blowing or your diesel runs out. However, there are a number of advantages to including energy storage in grid connected systems: energy arbitrage, peak shaving, and back-up power in the cases of grid failure.

 

4.Can I increase the size of an existing GO-AIO battery bank by adding more batteries?

Yes. Adding new batteries to an old system is perfectly okay. Because GO-AIO batteries require parallel configuration, old batteries will not hamper the performance of new ones that are added to increase the total battery bank capacity.

 

5.What material does my GO-AIO energy storage battery use? Why use it?

GoKWh’s GO-AIO series products use LiFePO4 batteries as raw materials. The battery composed of LiFePO4 material has long service life, long cycle cycle, large discharge power, high stability, high cost performance and is very friendly to the environment. The life cycle of each battery can be recycled more than 3000 times and used for about ten years. In the past, the cycle life of our commonly used lead-acid battery was less than 400 times, the service life was about two years, and the volume was large and bulky. In contrast, the performance of LiFePO4 battery is better than that of lead-acid battery, which is a new choice for people to buy batteries.
